We took our almost 2 year-old to the movies this weekend. We saw the Muppets, hoping she would love it because she loves Sesame St. I know some would call me a bad mom for taking my daughter under 2 to see a movie (or let her watch a second of tv). But to them I say, "WHATEVS"!
For her, it was magical. She sat in a little booster seat so she could see over the seat in front of her. We gave her a little cup of popcorn. When the previews came up she was totally captivated and kept saying, "oh, wow!" It was seriously one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Seeing her cute little chubby cheeks chowing down on popcorn in the light of the movie screen was so darling! She didn't make it through the whole thing but overall she did so good! I'm excited to share more of these experiences with her.
She is so cute! Did you enjoy the movie? I have thought about seeing it, but did not know if it was any good.
ReplyDeleteWOW, what a good girl! We took our 18 month old to see Happy Feet 2 in the theatre and it was a disaster!!! Let's just say the popcorn only kept him entertained for so long....!
